There is no threat to me, says Aamir
After Aamir touched upon sensitive topics like female foeticide, medical malpractices and honour killing in 'Satyamev Jayate', he had apparently received several threats to stop highlighting such cases.
There were reports that Aamir had ordered a bullet proof car as some of the episodes of 'Satyamev Jayate 2' may throw light on governance and issues related to Lok Sabha elections 2014.
"I have not got any threats. I don't fear... threats. Do not go with the rumours. There is no threat to me," the actor said.
The show anchored by Aamir, 48, will be aired on television from March 2.
"We think ourselves as communicators, our responsibility is to talk about an issue, present the data and talk about the law. I want people to join... engage in the movement and stand for the right things. Personally, I would like to endorse women empowerment," he said.

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are engaged
The actress was spotted wearing a giant diamond sparkler on her ring finger while out shopping with her mother at outdoor mall The Grove in Los Angeles on Thursday (27.02.14), sparking speculation her boyfriend of almost two years has proposed.
A source confirmed the news to Us Weekly, adding: ''She is crazy about him!''
The 'Ted' star, who is notoriously private about her love life, also uploaded an adorable picture of her and Ashton grinning ear-to-ear on Instagram the previous day along with the words, ''I love you @kutcher78''.
READ: Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis' could soon be getting engaged
Fans were quick to congratulate the couple - who first met 16 years ago on the set of 'That 70's Show' - enthusing, ''Congrats on your engagement!'' and ''Jackie and Kelso congrats''.
No strangers to rumours about their relationship, it seems things could be real this time since Ashton's divorce from Demi Moore, who he separated from in 2011, was officially finalised in November.
The 36-year-old funnyman started dating Mila, 30, in April 2012 and they have been inseparable ever since.
Wedding bell rumours first surfaced in December when Mila wore a gold band on her engagement finger ahead of her brother's Michael's wedding.
Kurtwood Smith, who played no-nonsense dad Red 'That 70's Show', previously joked about the show's on-screen lovebirds getting together in real life: ''It's amazing. They're both great people, so I'm happy for them. Maybe they should get married. We'll all go to the wedding and that could be the reunion. It'll be a reality show.''

94year old Cecilia Chiang: Bring Chinese food to America
authentic.
The tipping point came when, in 1961, the now 94-year-old Cecilia Chiang opened a restaurant in San
Francisco. A documentary on her life has been touted over the weekend at the South Beach Wine and Food Festival in Miami.
Meet the top chef who brought authentic Chinese food to America - Ninety-four-year-old Cecilia Chiang is at the South Beach Wine and Food Festival in Miami for a documentary centred on her journey to the country.
Chiang still remembers Chinese food in the U.S. when she first arrived.
"Pretty bad. It's all chop suey. And that's really not Chinese food," Chiang said. "And so at that time I decided I really have to do something, try to educate Americans and tell them what is the real Chinese food."
"Today, a little bit better. It's not that much better. I think some people always think Chinese food should be cheap.
When it's cheap, you don't get good ingredients. How could you produce good food? So that's very hard," she
added.
Cecilia Chiang brought authentic Chinese food to America.
The movie, "Soul of a Banquet" by Wayne Wang Productions, details Chiang's early life in China, her family
tragedy after moving to the U.S. and her experience as a businesswoman.
Oddly enough, she never cooked until she was raising her two children with her husband and decided to open a
restaurant in San Francisco.
"I'm not a cook at all, then after I came to this country I of course could not afford to have cook. So I started to learn how to cook. Started with rice, making rice and soup and then cook the meals for two of my children," she said.
She said she never thought there would be a movie about her and her life, but her mission to educate the American public about Chinese food has been accomplished.

Missouri Execution Uses Drug From Unknown Pharmacy, Michael Taylor Dies At 12:10 AM
Attorneys for Taylor, who has been on death row since 1991 for the brutal murder and rape of a 15-year-old girl in 1989, argued that because the execution drug pentobarbital was being obtained from an anonymous compounding pharmacy, its effects were not known and could cause suffering for the condemned man, violating the Eighth Amendment prohibition on cruel and unusual punishment.
"We have no idea about the track record of this pharmacy," lawyer John Simon said.
The U.S. Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals denied Taylor's appeal, despite blistering dissent from Judge Kermit Bye, who said that given the secrecy that Missouri has placed around the pharmacy, it "could be nothing more than a high school chemistry class."
"The reason that Missouri is trying to keep it a secret is because the state knows that it's not being done lawfully," said Missouri American Civil Liberties Union legal director Tony Rothert. "We don't believe that wanting to carry out an execution is a sufficient justification for the state of Missouri to be abetting the violation of federal drug laws."
But Missouri Governor Jay Nixon and a series of courts did not agree. Nixon refused to grant clemency for Taylor, and after seeing four separate appeals denied by the Eighth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, the convicted killer's lawyers took their appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court.
But the nation's highest court refused to put the brakes on the Missouri execution in a ruling handed down about an hour before Michael Taylor was injected with the pentobarbital that ended his life.
The Missouri Supreme Court also turned down a request for a stay of execution on Tuesday.
Defense lawyers also argued that Taylor's original attorney failed him by convincing him to plead guilty to the heinous crime just so she could lighten her workload.
Michael Taylor, 47 at the time of his death, was convicted of snatching 15-year-old Ann Harrison out of her driveway as she waited for a school bus on the morning of March 22, 1989. Taylor and his companion, Roderick Nunley, were coming off an all-night crack cocaine bender.
They took the girl to the home a house owned by Nunley's mother, where they raped her in the basement then stabbed her to death even as she pleaded with them to let her live. Taylor and Nunley then left her body in the trunk of a stolen car, which they abandoned.
Nunley is still awaiting execution for killing Ann Harrison.
Taylor's attorney also said that by carrying out the execution of Michael Taylor at this late date, Missouri was not only risking a violation of the constitution, it was engaging in a pointless killing.
"He poses no threat to society," said Simon. "His death would come far too late to have any deterrent effect."
"I am totally not the same person I was," Taylor said in an interview with the Reuters news agency. "It's hard to understand that life without parole is not good enough."
Michael Taylor avoided execution in 2006 when the doctor charged by Missouri with mixing the killer drugs admitted that his dyslexia cold lead to an error that could cause the drug to malfunction.

Nigerian School Attack: Islamist Militants Burn Students To Death
Some of the victims were reported to have been burned alive by the attackers.
The Nigerian school attack happened in the Federal Government College of Buni Yadi. All of the school attack victims that have been confirmed so far were boys.
Police Commissioner Sanusi Rufai said that some of the bodies recovered at the scene of the school attack were burned to ashes.
Earlier reports said that the death toll of the Nigerian attack was 29, but as more bodies were confirmed by Specialist Hospital Damaturu, the body count was raised to 59.
Some of the victims who barely escaped the onslaught of the school attack died later on bullet wounds, local officials confirmed.
All of the school's 24 buildings were burned to the ground, officials told Reuters.
The country's president, Goodluck Jonathan, said in a statement that the Nigerian school attack was a "callous and senseless murder." He called the attackers "deranged terrorists and fanatics who have clearly lost all human morality and descended to bestiality."
Boko Haram, or "Western Education is Sinful" in English, is an Islamist group that has been active in the northern parts of Nigeria for years. The group was founded by sect leader Mohammed Yusuf in 2002 and has been responsible for multiple school attacks and thousands of deaths over the years since their founding. Reuters recounts a similar school attack of the Boko Haram in Mamudo village in June, leaving 22 students dead.
The group has also claimed 300 deaths this month including 100 from two attacks conducted just last week.
The Inquisitr also reported January that the Boko Haram killed 12 people at a Christian wedding in Nigeria after two members pretended to be guests of the event.
President Jonathan previously launched an attack last May on the Boko Haram but failed to defeat the militants. The attack prompted the Boko Haram to take vengeance on neighboring civilians.
Citizens of Northeastern Nigeria are becoming more and more dissatisfied with the military's lack of effort towards peace and security in the terror-stricken areas.
Captain Lazarus Eli of the Nigerian military said that the country's armed forces are "down there in pursuit of the killers." He declined to give more information on the military activities.
The Nigerian school attack angered many leaders outside the country. US Secretary of State John Kerry described the attack as "unspeakable…acts of terror"

Turkish PM's office blasts phone recording
Istanbul - Turkey's Prime Minister made a full-throated denial Tuesday, denouncing telephone audio recordings that have exploded across Turkish social media and political circles like a bombshell.
The leader of one of the country's main opposition parties, meanwhile, leaped onto the controversial recordings, playing them at an appearance before lawmakers.
The recordings appear to be wiretaps of a series of conversations allegedly between Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his son, Bilal. The two men in the recordings discuss in detail how to hide vast amounts of money.
The recordings were allegedly made the day after a wide-reaching corruption investigation ensnared the sons of three Cabinet members. Bilal was questioned but never detained in the investigation.
"This is not an attack on Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the leader of the AK Party, but an attack on the Turkish Republic," the Prime Minister thundered Tuesday in a weekly speech to parliament members from his ruling Justice and Development Party, or AKP.
Erdogan labeled the audio recordings "immoral edited material."
"They are listening to the government's encrypted phones; that's how low they have sunk," Erdogan continued, denouncing a series of lobby groups that he has long accused of plotting to overthrow his government.
Erdogan has pledged to investigate corruption within his government. But the Prime Minister has also denounced implications that his family is involved in the scandal.
On Tuesday, protesters took to the streets in the wake of the scandal. Police in Istanbul used tear gas and water cannon to try to push protesters back.

Amanda Bynes given three-year drink-driving probation
It's after the actress pleaded no contest to a charge of reckless driving with an alcohol component.
The case dates back to an accident in 2012 when she hit a police car in LA.
Los Angeles County District Attorney spokeswoman Jane Robison confirmed the plea was entered on behalf of the 27-year-old by her lawyer.
Bynes, who starred in her own Nickelodeon sketch comedy TV series The Amanda Show at the age of 13, as well as films including Easy A and She's the Man, was sentenced by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Edward Moreton.
She was arrested in the early hours of 6 April 2012, in West Hollywood, after her BMW hit the side of a police patrol car.
She was charged with DUI [driving under the influence] when she refused to take a sobriety test.
Last year the actress was put into psychiatric care after starting a small fire in the drive of a home in California - her mother was then put in charge of the star's financial and legal affairs.
Bynes also appeared in a New York court in 2013 on allegations that she chucked a marijuana bong out the window of her 36th-floor Manhattan apartment.
She is currently on probation for driving on a suspended license.

Young mothers face stigma and abuse, says charities
A group of charities have told Newsbeat young mothers often face stigma despite teenage pregnancy being at its lowest since records began.
The charity Gingerbread said some young mums it works with have been verbally abused by strangers, leaving them feeling isolated and alone.
Carly, 26, from London has two sons and often gets mistaken for a teen mum.
"When I first started to show I was so proud, but all I would get is dirty looks," she said.

"You want to celebrate being a mum every minute and yet it's really hard to do that when you are being judged so much."
Carly's friend Kelly and her baby boy Noah often get unwanted attention too.
"Random people on the bus and on the street say horrible comments like 'I shouldn't have a kid so young' or ask if I'm on benefits when I have a job and go to college," she said.
"People don't understand that just because we are young and we've had our kids it doesn't mean we are not doing anything with our lives.
"If we had our kids in our thirties people would say we are too old, so no one wins."

Teenage conception rates
The under-18 conception rate for 2012 is the lowest since 1969 at 27.9 conceptions per thousand women aged 15-17.
The estimated number of conceptions to women aged under 18 fell to 27,834 in 2012 compared with 31,051 in 2011, a decrease of 10%.
In 2012 there were an estimated 884,748 conceptions to women of all ages, compared with 909,109 in 2011, a decrease of 2.7%.
Conception rates in 2012 increased for women aged 35 and over and decreased for women under 35.
"Some young mums don't want to go out of their house because they feel like they are being judged by members of their community," she added.
"If you are told you are disgusting for having a baby you are shamed into silence."
Jacob Tas, interim chief executive of the charity Action for Children, said: "Some of the teenage mums and dads we support have their own sad stories to tell of being stigmatised or patronised in the street by people who make unfair judgements about them.
"Being a parent can be tough enough without the added fear of random judgement or abuse when you're going about your day."
Experts believe discrimination towards young mums stems from the misconception that teen pregnancy in the UK is much higher than it actually is.
Philippa Newis from Gingerbread says young mothers can be treated badly
A survey by research company Ipsos MORI last summer found the public still overestimates teen pregnancy levels by 25 times.
The Office for National Statistics estimates the UK has one of the highest teenage pregnancy rates in Europe.
The Teenage Pregnancy Strategy for England, which ran from 1999 to 2010, did help to reduce the under-18 conception rate to its lowest level for 40 years to 31,051.
The latest figures from Public Health England show the conception rate among under 18 year olds dropped by 9.8% to 27.7 per 1000 in 2012, an all-time low for England.
The strategy aimed to prevent pregnancy before women were ready by improving contraception access, sex education in school and encouraging a more open relationship between parents and children.

Another plan crush: Asiana fined for failing to help families
The Korean airline was slow to publicize a phone number for families, took two full days to successfully contact the families of three-quarters of the passengers and did not contact families of several passengers until five days following the crash, authorities said.
The half-million-dollar penalty is the first time the DOT has issued a fine under a 1997 law that requires airlines to adopt and adhere to a "family assistance plan" for major accidents.
Three of the 291 passengers were killed and scores were injured when the Boeing 777 struck the seawall at San Francisco International Airport and tumbled down the runway.
"In the very rare event of a crash, airlines have a responsibility to provide their full support to help passengers and their families by following all the elements of their family assistance plans," Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx said in a statement. "The last thing families and passengers should have to worry about at such a stressful time is how to get information from their carrier."
In the DOT order, Asiana said its job was complicated by the limited number of workers at San Francisco's airport and other circumstances. Injured passengers were sent to 13 different area hospitals, and there was no list prepared at the time to help the airline track passengers.
Hospitals also were reluctant to release information to the airline due to privacy laws, the airline said.
Asiana released a statement after the DOT fine was announced saying that it "provided extensive support to the passengers and their families following the accident and will continue to do so."
Under the Foreign Air Carrier Family Support Act of 1997, foreign air carriers assure the Department of Transportation and the National Transportation Safety Board that they will adhere to a "family assistance plan" in the event of aircraft accidents resulting in a major loss of life.
Among other things, airlines must publicize and staff a toll-free telephone number to take calls from families, notify families as soon as practical and commit sufficient resources to carry out the family assistance plan.

Rio's slums the hot World Cup destination?
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - High above the beaches in Rio de Janeiro's hillside slums, you can get some of the best views in town. And now, they come from some of the cheapest rooms as well.
With the World Cup less than four months away, residents in many once infamous favelas are opening their doors to tourists, renting beds, rooms or even entire houses, and building youth hostels.
"If you want to see the World Cup, see some football matches and experience true Brazilian life you should really check this out," says Michael Blommers, a Dutch backpacker staying at a hostel in the Vidigal shantytown.
Beds at hostels in Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, which usually go for around $40 a night, are expected to cost as much as $400 during the World Cup. Hotels are even more expensive, with many requiring multiple-night stays.
But a bunk at Alto Vidigal Hostel will set guests back just $65 -- four times the usual price, but still a relative bargain.
Of course, visitors staying in Rio's favelas will likely be confronted with more than just a modest room. Garbage in these areas often piles up along the roads, while electricity, water and sewage services are spotty at best. Transportation can be precarious.
The biggest concern, though, is security. Just a few years ago, Rio's favelas were controlled by drug lords. Police have since stormed many of them, in a process dubbed "pacification," driving out armed gangs in an effort to make it relatively safe for residents and visitors. But they've had mixed results.
Periodic gun battles continue in many favelas. Just last week, drug traffickers shot at police posts in Rocinha, one of the biggest shantytowns in Rio.
Maria Clara dos Santos says she could hear the recent shootouts from her terrace. She rents rooms in her bright yellow house to foreign tourists and says safety depends on knowing where not to go and following rules.
"Don't use drugs, don't bring girls home, keep it a nice environment," she says.

Mourinho angry at secret recording
Mourinho said he was joking when he complained about Chelsea's lack of forwards and said that Samuel Eto'o may be 35 and not 32 years old.
"It was a funny conversation with somebody that doesn't belong to the football world," said the Portuguese.
The TV show's editor says they are "fully comfortable" with the interview.
"We are very surprised by Jose Mourinho's comments, claiming it was off the record," said Herve Mathoux, editor and anchor of the programme by French broadcaster Canal Plus.
"The camera was located 50 centimetres, maybe one meter away from him. It was a tight close up," he told CNN. (external)
Speaking ahead of his side's Champions League last-16 tie against Galatasaray on Wednesday, Mourinho told the assembled media they should be "embarrassed" by the way the TV station published comments he had made about his players during a conversation eight days ago in Switzerland.
"It is a disgrace that someone is taping a private conversation," said Mourinho.
"I'm not defending what I'm saying. I'm attacking something that is, I think, fundamental in your professional area and that person showed exactly what he is or what he does not know about the job.
"From my perspective, the comment is not obviously a good one, not one I would do in a serious way, not something I would do in an official way in an interview."
Mathoux says "there is no way Mourinho could ignore he was filmed", but the Blues manager claims he had no knowledge that was the case.
In the video, Mourinho said: "The problem with Chelsea is I lack a striker. I have Eto'o but he is 32 years old, maybe 35, I don't know."
But in Tuesday's news conference, the former Real Madrid manager backed Eto'o, who is 32, and sought to limit any damage in the relationship between the two men by highlighting the fact that the Cameroon forward has played under him at two different clubs, Inter Milan and Chelsea.
"It was with Eto'o that I had the best ever season of my career," said Mourinho, referring to the 2009-10 campaign when Inter won Serie A, the Coppa Italia and Champions League.
"He's one of the few players who is working with me in a second different club and a manager never does that when he doesn't like the player or doesn't like the person."
Mourinho added that Eto'o, who joined Chelsea on a free transfer from Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala last summer, had "no reason to be upset" with his comments given he had once said he would never play for the Portuguese.
"After a few years, he was playing with me at Inter and now he is playing for me [at Chelsea]," said Mourinho. "There is no story."
Eto'o has only scored eight goals in 27 appearances since he arrived at Stamford Bridge last August. Fellow strikers Fernando Torres and Demba Ba have only managed 11 goals between them in all competitions.
But despite the lack of goals from the strikers, Chelsea are a point clear of Arsenal at the top of the Premier League with 11 games remaining.

Mobile World Congress: Who's wearing wearable tech?
It's not just smartphones on show at the world's biggest mobile technology event in Barcelona.
If you can wear it, fit a battery in it and connect it to the internet, the chances are you'll find it here.
Fitness bands are everywhere, big manufacturers are pushing smart watches despite slow sales and there is a lot of experimental technology on display.
We found some people embracing the trend and asked them about their favourite wearable tech.
Wiebe Elsinga - Fitbit Flex and Google Glass
"I think it's going to be the future. The consumption of information is more important for us on a day to day basis.
"Wearing glass gives me more information and wearing the wrist band gives me a more relaxing way of knowing whether I'm healthy.
"At the end of the day I unplug. As a consumer money is a really important factor, it's the responsibility of the manufacturer to give us low prices on these devices."
Sebastian Cocsis - Sony Smartwatch
"I like my smartwatch because I like to see my notifications and messages on this because it's small and I have a big phone.
"During school I can't use my phone so the watch is a good product for me. It's waterproof, I go in the sea with it no problem.
"I think that smart watches are the future now - they are beautiful and very useful."
Alex Saltwater - Nike Fuelband
"It tracks my movement, counts calories and steps and can sync wirelessly to my mobile app.
"It's a nice reminder, I look at it every day and from time to time it gives me a goal and I can share it to my social network so it's fun to use as well.
"I think it just has to find how it can be useful in people's lives.
"As the price comes down and people feel like it gives them some value, I think wearable technology will become more common."

Didier Drogba ready for special Chelsea reunion
As a boy, he watched Diego Maradona lift the World Cup and dreamed of doing the same. As a 16-year-old, he watched Ajax beat the mighty AC Milan to win the Champions League from his home in Abidjan and let himself imagine what it might be like to get his hands on that trophy.
Throughout his career, a sense of destiny has followed him from Ivory Coast to Istanbul, via Marseille, an incredible night in Munich and eight years in the blue of Chelsea. The latest twist is no different.
"Are Chelsea better than Galatasaray? Yes, they are 10 times better," the Galatasaray striker, now 35, says as we begin to discuss the impending reunion with his old club in the last 16 of the Champions League.
"If I play it is to win. It will be tough but Juve were better than us, so anything can happen. If there's a 1% chance of us winning. I'll believe it."
We meet on a cloudless afternoon on the outskirts of Istanbul.
Drogba greets me with a warm smile and the kind of handshake you would expect from this wrecking ball of a centre forward. He may not speak the language, but in Turkish there is a special tense for dreams and, as he begins to speak, it is clear he may as well be using it as he considers the reality of playing against a club with whom he is intrinsically associated. Will he be able to keep his emotions in check?
"It will be difficult," he says. "You don't stay eight years in a place you don't like, especially in football - it is very emotional. I love Chelsea but I play for Galatasaray now and I will give everything for them."
Drogba retains the same passion, almost two years after scoring the most significant goal in Chelsea's history to secure a first Champions League trophy.
He fiddles with his black cloth flat cap as he recalls a gallery of memories from his time at Stamford Bridge. Of 157 goals in 342 games, three Premier League titles, four FA Cups, two League Cups and that winning penalty against Bayern Munich - his last kick in a Chelsea shirt - in the Champions League final.
"When you're happy at a club, you want to stay forever," said Drogba who joined Chelsea from Marseille for £24m in July 2004. "But sometimes you can't do everything you want to do. I am proud of what I achieved."
And yet he has begun a new love affair in Turkey. Standing below the minarets of the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia, his name is greeted with adulation. His contract ends this summer and before he decides anything, he will give the Turkish giants the chance to keep him.
"I will study every offer in the summer," he says. "But I will look at the one from Galatasaray because they gave me a chance to play again at a high level and I'll see what is on the table. I want to win, not just to play, but to play to win. I know it is a bad habit."
There has been no contact from Chelsea, as yet, but could he ever say rule out the possibility of going back, of a reunion with Mourinho? "They say in French 'avec des si. Rome ne s'est pas construite en un jour' [there are lots of ifs. Rome wasn't built in a day]. It is only if and if and if. We are not there yet."
The conversation takes place in a sunlit room overlooking the first-team training pitch inside Galatasaray's walled training ground. Armed guards patrol the pathways around the complex and, passing through the vast gated entrance, you are immediately confronted by a vast image of the club celebrating their victory over Arsenal in the Uefa Cup final on penalties in 2000.
Drogba led the club to the title in his first season, helping them reach the knockout stages of the Champions League, where they lost to Real Madrid.
This season, the success has continued and victory over Juventus in the group stages secured a place in the last 16 for a second successive season and the chance to let fate pair him with Chelsea.
Drogba's jet black Italian supercar sits outside the building where the players eat and relax. Manager Roberto Mancini appears but does not linger long and flashes a wry smile as he spots the British media. His assistant, Tugay, is more animated. But watching Drogba train, it is clear that the Ivorian feels at home here, feels wanted and appreciated.
He describes Mancini as a "great coach" when asked to compare the former Manchester City manager with Mourinho. "They're very different, two different personalities but with the same mentality. They want to win, they want to win trophies. They are winners. "
He remains close to Mourinho. Texts were exchanged after the draw, but Drogba says that has stopped now. "He's concentrating," Drogba says with a smile.
How he would describe his relationship with Mourinho? "It is a simple one. There is a lot of respect.
When there is somebody that important, who looks at you like a friend, you forget that he is 'The Special One' and you are the striker.
"It is a man-to-man relationship, a friendship. These kind of moments are special, because they are very important, very precious. He was the one who helped me to make my decision to come to play for Chelsea.
"He was always fair with me. When I deserved to play, I played. When I didn't, I didn't. That is why I respected him so much."
When I ask him if he considered his own future when Mourinho left Chelsea in 2007, Drogba shoots straight back. "Yes I did.
"When you are young and emotional you react straight away and later you end up realising it was not the right thing. Maybe I'd have dealt with it differently today, but I was affected because the man who believed in me was leaving. It was normal."
This is a more mature Drogba. He is considered, calm and charming. "I still want to win games, still want to win the Champions League, I still want to win trophies. The only difference is there is more experience, I am more in control of what I do on the pitch, more in control of my emotions."
Does he regret certain high-profile incidents? "That was me. There are a few things I regret: one is over-reacting against Barcelona. When I saw how that story went around the world I realised it was not the best. But it was me. I can actually understand why I was so emotional."
There will be no shortage of emotion at Turk Telekom Arena, Galatasaray's home for the past three years. At the site of Istanbul's infamous Ali Semi Yen stadium, once European football's most intimidating venue and home to those 'welcome to hell' banners, construction workers and cranes provide the soundtrack these days.
This is the new Galatasaray, led by Mancini, Drogba, Wesley Sneijder and Brazilian midfield player Felipe Melo.
The old stadium may have gone but the intensity remains. Chelsea will feel the full affect on Wednesday, as well as the sights, sounds and smells of Istanbul.
This cosmopolitan city bridges the divide not only between Europe and Asia, across the mighty Bosphorus, but also between two worlds. For Drogba, the parallels are hard to ignore. Now he must hope his dreams can, once again, come true.
