Happy Birthday Pastor Enoch Adeboye Clocks 72

Pastor Adeboye on his day

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, has been described as one of the strongest pillars of Nigeria whose prayers have been able to hold Nigeria together.

The extremely humble man of God clocked 72 years of age yesterday, 2nd of March, 2014, and in his message to congratulate the international preacher, President Goodluck Jonathan said that Pastor Adeboye has continued to pray for Nigeria's unity and that with people like him praying for the country, Nigeria will continue to remain one indivisible country.

Born in Ifewara, Osun State, Nigeria, Pastor Adeboye, who is fondly called Daddy GO by his teeming followers, is a Professor of Mathematics with a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Lagos. He was a Mathematics lecturer in Mathematics at the Universities of Lagos and Ilorin and after joining the RCCG, he began working to translate the sermons of its then Pastor and founder, Rev. Josiah Olufemi Akindayomi, from Yoruba into English.

In 1981, Pastor Adeboye was appointed General Overseer of the church, taking over from Papa Akindayomi, who had died the previous year.

The church, which was not well known before Pastor Adeboye took charge, now has branches in over a hundred countries, including more than 20,000 in Nigeria, with Pastor Adeboye's aim of planting a church within five minutes of every person on Earth.

Pastor Adeboye is married to Pastor Foluke Adenike Adeboye and they have four grown children who are all successful in their different fields of endeavor.

Let's wish Daddy GO a very happy belated birthday!

No more Actress Biola Ige Says Nigerian Men Only Want To Have Sex With Her

Actress Biola Ige wants to wait for the right man(Tribune.com)
Yoruba actress, Biola Ige, has an axe to grind with Nigerian men and as far as she is concerned, there is no real man in Nigeria because she sees all men as angling for the 'thing' between women's legs.

The Nollywood actress, a graduate of the University of Jos, Plateau State,  who believes this attitude of men has negatively affected her affairs with men, says she realized, albeit late, that most men simply want to 'make love with her and move on.'

Biola who has acted in movies like Hidden Treasure, Humble Hero, Holy City, Blackmail, Tears of Forest, My Virginity, Darkest Link, Loyal Enemies, and a host of others, spoke in an interview recently, confessed that she is not in any relationship because of that singular fact and she does not want to continue giving herself to unserious men who are only out to toy with her.

«I am not dating now. I have grown over the years and realized that most men want to just get in-between your legs.

«I have chosen to be on my own and remain focused. If the right man comes and he is truly ready to date and not just to have fun, I will have a rethink.

Do you think she has taken a good step?

10 Surprising Health Benefits of Sex

A healthy couple

For some couples, sex is something they just take for granted, believing that it is a duty they have to perform whether they like it or not.

But we can tell you that the perks of sex extend well beyond the bedroom. It has been discovered that the benefits of a healthy sex goes a long way to affect your health positively.

Sex not only feels good. It can also be good for you. Here's what a healthy sex life can do for you.

1. Sex Helps Keep Your Immune System Humming

Sexually active people take fewer sick days, says Yvonne K. Fulbright, a sexual health expert. People who have sex have higher levels of what defends their bodies against germs, viruses, and other intruders. Researchers have found that couples who have sex twice or thrice a week had higher levels of a certain antibody compared to those who have sex less often.

2. Sex Boosts Your Libido

Longing for a more lively sex life? Having sex will make sex better and will improve your libido. The more a woman has sex with her spouse, the more her vaginal lubrication, blood flow, and elasticity, all of which make sex feel better, improve and helps her crave more of it.

3. Sex Improves Women's Bladder Control

A strong pelvic floor is important for avoiding incontinence, something that will affect about 30% of women at some point in their lives. Good and regular sex has been known to be a good workout for your pelvic floor muscles. When you have an orgasm, it causes contractions in those muscles, which strengthens them.

4. Sex Lowers Your Blood Pressure

Research suggests a link between sex and lower blood pressure, and this has been proven medically. There have been many studies into this and recently, a landmark study found that sexual intercourse specifically lowers systolic blood pressure. That is the first number on your blood pressure test.

5. Sex Counts as Exercise

Sex is a really great form of exercise. It won't replace the treadmill, but it counts for something. A good round of sex uses about five calories per minute, four more calories than watching TV. It gives you a one-two punch: It bumps up your heart rate and uses various muscles. So get busy! You may even want to clear your schedule to make time for it on a regular basis. Like with exercise, consistency helps maximize the benefits.

6. Sex Lowers Heart Attack Risk

A good sex life is good for your heart. Besides being a great way to raise your heart rate, sex helps keep your estrogen and testosterone levels in balance. When either one of those is low, you begin to get lots of problems, like osteoporosis and even heart disease but having sex more often may help. During one study, men who had sex at least twice a week were half as likely to die of heart disease as men who had sex rarely.

7. Sex Lessens Pain

Before you reach for that pain reliever, try for an orgasm. Orgasm can block pain, says Barry R. Komisaruk, a distinguished service professor at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. Sex releases a hormone that helps raise your pain threshold. Stimulation without orgasm can also do the trick. It has been found that vaginal stimulation can block chronic back and leg pain, and many women have agreed that genital self-stimulation can reduce menstrual cramps, arthritic pain, and in some cases, even headache.

8. Sex Makes Prostate Cancer Less Likely

Going for the gusto may help ward off prostate cancer. Men who ejaculated frequently (at least 21 times a month) were less likely to get prostate cancer during one study, which was published in the Journal of the American Medical Association. You don't need a partner to reap this benefit: Sexual intercourse, nocturnal emission, and masturbation were all part of the equation. It's not clear that sex was the only reason that mattered in that study. Lots of factors affect cancer risk. But more sex won't hurt.

9. Sex Improves Sleep

You may nod off more quickly after sex, and for good reason. After orgasm, the hormone prolactin is released, which is responsible for the feelings of relaxation and sleepiness after sex.

10. Sex Eases Stress

Being close to your partner can soothe stress and anxiety. Touching and hugging can release your body's natural "feel-good hormone." Sexual arousal releases a brain chemical that revs up your brain's pleasure and reward system. Sex and intimacy can boost your self-esteem and happiness too. It's not only a prescription for a healthy life, but a happy one.

Bombshell Pastor Chris Supports Abortion?

The Head pastor and Founder of the Believer's love world, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome recently gave his Opinion on Abortion

The general overseer and founder of the Christ Embassy Church recently dropped a bombshell on us. Speaking on the issue of Abortion, he said that if a woman was raped, it's left for her to decide whether to keep it or not. Interpreted, it means you can decide to abort, or not.

Considering the Global fight against Abortion by the church, this goes against everything it has stood for, for centuries. According to church doctrines, all human life is sacred. Last time we checked, an unwanted pregnancy carry's a human, not a coconut.

Is Pastor Chris saying we can really abort, or we did not get the message well? The photo says it all though.

Obama unveils $3.9 trillion proposal for fiscal 2015

US President Barack Obama has unveiled his 3.9 trillion dollar budget for the fiscal year 2015, which
begins on October 1st. He has called for expanded tax credits for the working poor, and a reduction in
tax breaks for the rich.

President Barack Obama answers a question regarding the ongoing situation in the Ukraine during his visit to Powell Elementary School in the
Petworth neighborhood of Washington,
Tuesday, March 4, 2014, where he went to discuss his fiscal 2015 federal budget proposels.

"As a country, we have got to make a decision if we are going to protect tax breaks for the wealthiest Americans, or if we are going to make smart
investments necessary to create jobs and grow our economy, and expand opportunity for every American.

At a time when our deficits are falling at the fastest rate in 60 years, we have got to decide if we are going to keep squeezing the middle class, or if we are going to continue to reduce the deficits
responsibly, while taking steps to grow and strengthen the middle class," he said.

Obama's proposed tax credits covers low-income working Americans from the age of 21 to 67. The budget also calls for over 300 million US dollars in
infrastructure improvements funded through changes to business taxes. It would expand early-childhood education, to be paid through higher
tobacco taxes.

The budget would lead to a 64 billion dollar budget deficit, 3.1 percent of the nation's gross domestic product. The blueprint is all but certain to be
rejected by the Republican-controlled House of Representatives, who favor a reduced government role in promoting economic opportunity. But it has laid out Obama's policy priorities ahead of
November congressional elections.

Domestic violence: One-third of EU women affected - survey

The study found that a majority of women did not report the most serious incidents of domestic violence
About a third of all women in the EU have experienced either physical or sexual violence since the age of 15, according to a survey by the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights.

That corresponds to 62 million women, the survey says.

It is said to be the biggest survey conducted on the subject, and is based on interviews with 42,000 women.

The report calls on EU countries to treat domestic violence as a public, not a private issue.

It says laws and policies relating to sexual harassment should be reviewed.

Under-reported

The survey asked women about their experiences of physical, sexual and psychological violence, at home and in the workplace, as well as stalking, sexual harassment and violence in childhood.

It found that "one in 10 women has experienced some form of sexual violence since the age of 15, and one in 20 has been raped".

The survey noted that 22% had suffered from physical or sexual violence by a partner, but that 67% did not report the most serious incidents of domestic violence to the police.

It said there was a link between heavy alcohol use and domestic violence.

About 18% of women said they had been the victims of stalking since the age of 15, and 55% said they had been sexually harassed, often in the workplace, the survey found.

It noted that young women as a group "are particularly vulnerable to victimisation".

"What emerges is a picture of extensive abuse that affects many women's lives, but is systematically under-reported to the authorities," said Morten Kjaerum, director of the Agency for Fundamental Rights.

He said the survey showed that "violence against women is an extensive human rights abuse in all EU member states".

He urged countries to take action to fight the problem, which he said "impacts on society everyday".

The report said that campaigns and responses to the problem should be aimed at men as well as women.

"Men need to be positively engaged in initiatives that confront how some men use violence against women."

Why I Dragged Emeka Ike To Court- Landlord Speaks At Last

You read the story here few weeks ago, but you never read from the landlord and how Emeka Ike threatened the 86year old man who has been suffering from diabetics for 37years now. It is my property, but Emeka threatened to deal with me over it. He refused to pay his rent, and yet wasn't ready to evacuate, despite my condition, the old man said. The Sunnewsonline after speaking with the man also spoke to the actor, but he wonders why the media is interested in his private life. Oh well… The story after the cut.

This is certainly not the best of times for Nollywood actor, Emeka Ike who has been thrown out of his rented apartment in Magodo GRA, Ikeja, Lagos, over his inability to pay an accumulated three year rent of N8.5 million.

The apartment, a twin duplex located at 1, Raji Oladimeji Street, Magodo GRA, was until his ejection, used by Emeka to run his business.

Like all other professionals at the peak of their career, Emeka had in 2007 diversified by establishing a secondary school named St Nicholas College and decided to hire the premises on a five-year lease agreement from an 87-year-old retiree, Chief Samuel Agboola Akintan at the rate of N2 million per annum for the first two years and N3 million annually for the remaining three years, bringing the total rent of five years to N13 million.

Saturday Sun gathered that Emeka was able to get his landlord accept a deposit of N2 million with a promise to pay the rest later. Trouble, however, started when a year after moving in, the popular actor began to default and at a point issued a dud cheque of N1.5 million.

Determined to redeem his public image, the star actor has, however, said he is not broke, adding that his ejection was an injustice which he is ready to sort out in court.

To force Emeka to pay his money and eject him from the property, Chief Akintan through his company, Samak Investments Ltd, had to drag the actor to the Ikeja Magistrate court.

Without much delay, the court had on November 22, last year ordered the actor to vacate the premises but his refusal to heed the order led the court Sheriff to carry out  execution of the judgment on January 24 this year when his property was thrown out.

Speaking to Saturday Sun, the octogenarian chairman of Samak Investment Ltd, Chief Akintan wondered why the actor chose to be a pain in his neck. He said that he has sympathy for the Nollywood star, but "unfortunately, Emeka doesn't have sympathy for himself."

According to him, his company leased the property to the actor on June 1, 2007. Before then, he said he had never heard of Emeka's name as his children were the ones that told him that he's a nollywood actor.

He said: "I never knew this gentleman from Adam. He just came to my house with his wife and I was worried about who he was and my children came to me, saying, Emeka Ike, we know him daddy; he is a nice gentleman. That is how I fell into his hands."

He said the recommendation from his children made him enter into the lease agreement of five years which was to expire in 2012. According to him, "he was supposed to pay for the first two years N2 million each per annum and the subsequent three years N3 million per annum. The total rent for that period of five years should be N13 million. He paid N2 million for the first year and never paid again until three years later when he paid another N2.5 million. Even this N2.5 million was a tug of war before he could pay it. So, out of N13 million, he paid only N4.5 million and the balance should be N 8.5 million."

When he wanted to take Emeka to court, he said the popular actor begged him not to do that that he would be living up to expectations.

"When I wanted to take the matter to court, Emeka wrote a letter on February 15, 2012, pleading that I'm his father and that I should halt any court process against him. Even this N2.5 million was paid in 2011, a year to the expiration of the five- year lease. After that, he issued a N1.5 million Zenith bank, Eric Moore branch cheque in my name, dated May 20, 2012, which bounced.

"Some people advised me to take him to Special Fraud Unit (SFU) of the Nigeria police; I refused because this boy is a young boy like my son, why would I do that to him; that he should leave my property."

The relationship got worse from that moment. "After the cheque bounced, my lawyer called him over the phone, he started abusing me, threatening to deal with the lawyer and me. I never looked at what he was owing me in the past but should pay this N1.5 million. If I were to calculate his arrears, he has to pay far more but I am just satisfied  with this N1.5 million."

It was another round of battle when the matter eventually shifted to the court. Unfortunately, it was learnt Emeka's lawyer simply identified as Bashir stopped attending court sessions at a point.

"The magistrate became frustrated. The last he came, he appealed that the matter be settled out of court. The magistrate in her own initiative transferred it to multi-door court, Igbosere. They gave us appointment but Emeka didn't honour it.

"I can't walk, so the two times I went there, I was carried like a baby to the court and Emeka didn't come, but my lawyer went there three times. The magistrate at Igbosere wrote back to the one at Ikeja to go ahead with the matter since Emeka didn't come.
"We went back to the first court and after several adjournments, neither Emeka nor his lawyer put up appearance and we were asked to give our evidence and we did, thereafter, the judgment was delivered.

"To give Emeka another opportunity, we got judgment in November 22, but the magistrate in her wisdom said we should give him one month to enable him to get himself together and move out. We were supposed to take possession by December 20, 2013 but we didn't until January 24, when the Commissioner of Police gave us three policemen led by an Assistant Superintendent of Police to follow the Court Sheriff to eject him. They ejected him and put his property outside."

When Emeka heard of this unsavoury development, he was said to have gone to Magodo police station and reported that thugs invaded his property after which the police arrested the two guards the landlord had stationed there.

"When in January I went to the premises, even the teachers complained that they had never seen him for many months and had not paid them salaries for nine months.

"While I was in Ondo, I got a phone call that Ekeka came to Lagos and went to Magodo police station and reported that thugs invaded his property. Police went there and arrested the guards and he put his own guards and locked the place."

Sounding emotional, Chief Akintan said: "I'm a sick man; diabetic for 37 years. I will be 87 by my next birthday and can't walk. I live at the grace of doctors and what nature can allow me to have. I'm immobile. I had to come back to Lagos to start another process to dislodge him. When I spoke to the DPO, Magodo police station and tendered documents, he said, so, 'Emeka came here to tell him lies.'
"We have filed a contempt of court against him. We have taken possession of the property and about renovating it.

He is going about telling people that the place was not completed when he moved in that he put over N200 million to build it. He has done a lot of damage to the property.  I sent my contractor to assess the damage; he told me that I needed between N10 million and N13 million for renovation.

"I have sympathy for Emeka, but unfortunately, he has no sympathy for himself. Emeka went to court to plead that the judgment should be set aside, that I received a kangaroo judgment; that the case should be retried. The court dismissed it, saying it was abuse of court process.

I don't know what Emeka would do again. I have never seen a character like that before.

"His former landlord, Dr Shofoluwe was in the same position with me. He is looking for Emeka to pay N3.5 million rent arrears. He was ejected legally. This is the type of man coming to trouble me now and I don't need cheap publicity."

Speaking to Saturday Sun on the development, Emeka, wondered why the media should be interested in his private life.

According to him, "there is a position now, because I don't want people who have not achieved anything in their lives to use unnecessary distractions to gain prominence. It is my money and investments and it is not a national crisis.

Maybe people who think I have a larger than life image are trying to use it to make a point and I want to handle it as legal as possible."

He noted that there can be challenges in business, stressing that he is still in possession of the school.
He added that only two entities can close down a school, either the government or the owner of the school stressing that none of that has happened.

"I'm still in possession of the school. It is only the government that has the right to shut down the school if it feels that I'm not capable and I, as the CEO, if I feel that I can't do it again. Nobody can shut down the school and the case is in court. It should not be seen as a national crisis, I have my business in Abuja and I'm doing very well and right now I don't like distraction," he stated.

Top 25 Richest People in the World 2014

If you follow the same routine as Robert Orban ("Every morning I get up and look through the Forbes list of the richest people in America. If I'm not there, I go to work"), you had the opportunity to see if you made it as one of the newest members of the Forbes richest people in the world list. With less than 2000 people claiming one of these coveted spots, the likelihood that you have another year of work is pretty high.

Bill Gates seems to have followed his money tips well for 2014. After a four year hiatus from the top spot, he regained the title of richest man in the world. With a net worth of $76 billion, he moved passed Carlos Slim Helu ($72 billion) who made his fortune in the Mexican telecom industry. Warren Buffett, who also has some sound money tips, remained in fourth position, the same spot he held last year.

The list of the top 25 billionaires is as follows:

#1 Bill Gates: $76 Billion
#2 Carlos Slim Helu: $72 Billion
#3 Amancio Ortega: $64 Billion
#4 Warren Buffett: $58.2 Billion
#5 Larry Ellison: $48 Billion
#6 Charles Koch: $40 Billion
#6 David Koch: $40 Billion
#8 Sheldon Adelson: $38 Billion
#9 Christy Walton: $36.7 Billion
#10 Jim Walton: $34.7 Billion
#11 Liliane Bettencourt: $34.5 Billion
#12 Stefan Persson: $34.4 Billion
#13 Alice Walton: $34.3 Billion
#14 S. Robson Walton: $34.2 Billion
#15 Bernard Arnault: $33.5 Billion
#16 Michael Bloomberg: $33 Billion
#17 Larry Page: $32.3 Billion
#18 Jeff Bezos: $32 Billion
#19 Sergey Brin: $31.8 Billion
#20 Li Ka-shing: $31 Billion
#21 Mark Zuckerberg: $28.5 Billion
#22 Michele Ferrero: $26.5 Billion
#23 Karl Albrecht: $25 Billion
#23 Aliko Dangote: $25 Billion
#25 Carl Icahn: $24.5 Billion

To make the top 25 richest people in the world, you needed to have a net worth of nearly $25 billion. Only a single person, Carl Icahn, was able to make that list with less, and he just barely missed it at $24.5 billion.

There were a record number of billionaires this year according to Forbes. In total, there were 1,645 billionaires who made the list, up from 1,426 who made the list in 2013. This year the average net worth came in at $4.7 billion for those who made the list. The combined total value of these billionaires reached $6.4 trillion, a cool $1 trillion more than last year, which was $5.4 trillion.

The vast majority of the billionaires made their fortunes on their own. Of the 1,645 billionaires on the list, 66% (1,080) were self-made. 34% of those on the list inherited at least a portion of their wealth, with 21% (352) still growing that wealth and 13% (207) living off the inheritance.

Mark Zuckerberg was the biggest gainer of net worth over the past year by more than doubling his net worth from 2013 to $28.5 billion in 2014, moving into the top 25 list at number 21. He could thank his good fortune on his stake in Facebook stock which dramatically increased in the past year.

There were quite a few new faces to the list. There were a total of 268 newcomers added to this year. This was the highest number ever added by 42 people, when 226 new billionaires were added to the list in 2008. This included a record number of 172 women, a 25% increase from the 2013 list.

There were also those who didn't have the best of years. A total of 100 people fell off the list, with another 16 passing away over the year.

Dangote 3step behind Facebook owner to rank world’s 23rd richest man on earth

The ranks of the world's billionaires continue to scale new heights–and stretch to new corners of the world.

Forbes global wealth team found 1,645 billionaires with an aggregate net worth of $6.4 trillion, up from $5.4 trillion a year ago. The magazine unearthed a record 268 new ten-figure fortunes, including 42 new women billionaires, another record. In total, there are 172 women on the list, more than ever before and up from 138 last year.

Microsoft founder Bill Gates is back on top after a four-year hiatus, reclaiming the title of world's richest person from telecom mogul Carlos Slim Helu of Mexico, who ranked No. 1 for the past four years.

Also for the first time, an African, Aliko Dangote of Nigeria, breaks into the top 25. Worth $25 billion, he moves up 20 spots.

Gates, whose fortune rose by $9 billion in the past year, has held the top spot for 15 of the past 20 years. Spanish clothing retailer Amancio Ortega (best known for the Zara fashion chain) retains the No. 3 spot for the second year in a row, extending his lead over Warren Buffett, who is again No. 4. American gambling tycoon Sheldon Adelson, who added $11.5 billion to his pile, makes it back into the top ten for the first time since 2007. Another first: A record net worth of $31 billion was needed to make the top 20, up from $23 billion last year.

The year's biggest dollar gainer was Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg, whose fortune jumped $15.2 billion, to $28.5 billion, as shares of his social network soared. Tech, and more specifically Facebook, helped propel numerous fortunes lately. The company's COO, Sheryl Sandberg, joins the ranks for the first time, as does Facebook's longtime vice president Jeff Rothschild. Also, thanks to a $19 billion deal (including restricted stock) with Facebook, WhatsApp founders Jan Koum and Brian Acton join the ranks of Silicon Valley's wealthiest for the first time. They are 4 of 26 newcomers whose fortunes come from technology, 10 of whom are American, including Dropbox CEO Drew Houston and Workday cofounder Aneel Bhusri.

Thanks to the tech boom, and strong stock market, the U.S. once again leads the world with 492 billionaires, followed by China with 152 and Russia with 111. By region, Europe boasted the most billionaires outside the US, with 468 in total, closely followed by Asia, which had 444 billionaires.

The list suggested that wealth was spreading, with four new countries featuring for the first time – Algeria, Lithuania, Tanzania and Uganda.

Nigerian Prostitutes Strike “We Demand Our Rights”

Fighting for their rights

This may sound funny but as the world marked the 14th International Sex Worker's Rights Day yesterday, Nigerian prostitutes took to the streets in the nation's capital city, Abuja and other major towns, including Lagos and Port Harcourt, asking to be recognized and their jobs registered as a service trade.

Some of the commercial sex workers who spoke to our sources, say that the Nigerian government should identify their importance in the society and give them legitimacy since they are providing 'services' to humanity, instead of treating them with disdain, stigmatization and degradation.

«See, many people, including you, do not see us as human beings. In your mind, we are a condemned set of Nigerians who sell their bodies so cheaply, but that thought is not right," one of them reportedly said.

«"The government should recognize us as we are rendering a very important service to humanity. Some of the law enforcement agents that harass us, arrest us, beat us, rape us and also extort money from us are our regular customers. Even government officials patronize us, so why are they hiding?" Another said.

«"In some countries abroad, sex workers pay taxes. There is no discrimination, they can sue and even have streets, mainly in red light districts allocated to them to carry out their trades. But here in Nigeria, we are faced with rejection from the society, serious harassment by the police, and victimization by our customers.

«"You can imagine a customer who rushes into this place in a desperate bid to ease himself, jumps at one of us after a bargain and rides like a horse only to renege on the agreement on how much he should pay. If we have our rights, we could call for his arrest without shame or molestation from security agents and other Nigerians," another concluded.

What do you make of their demands?

Preach! Chris Brown – My Mind Is On Money Not Rihanna

The world is waiting for his come-back not a get together with his ex, even he himself agrees!

Chris Brown is putting new album over Rihanna/Drake comeback

Chris Brown is ready to get back to work not to fight his way into Rihanna's heart. The singer is out of rehab and is preparing to get his next album, X, to limelight despite rumours that RiRi could be be getting back on board.

However, Breezy has expressed his happiness over news that his former rival Drake and RiRi are getting closer than before. He seems all good with Drake doing the midnight jockey ride with his ex - even though she caused a MAJOR BEEF between them for years.
According to TMZ, "the singer is copacetic over the duo rekindling their romance. Chris has his mind on his money. He is focusing on making a huge comeback."

Drake and Breezy triggered an all-out war at WIP nightclub in NYC back in 2012 over the rude Boy singer, when the Brown/Drake posses got into a bottle throwing fight.

However, Brown is not only concentrating of his career but is putting so much attention to his health. Doctors at the rehab facility where he just finished a 90-day stint diagnosed the singer with bipolar disorder.  Who knows, maybe the meds are working!

Soyinka On Boko Haram The Canonisation of Terror by Wole Soyinka

Africa's Nobel Laureate has released a statement over the growing scourge of terrorism in Northern Nigeria.

Africa's literature giant, Wole Soyinka, is unhappy with the current situation in which Nigeria wallows.

Over the last month, vicious attacks by terrorist Islamic sect, Boko Haram, has left scores dead, many abducted, and thousands injured. In a message published on Facebook, Soyinka, who is revered by the African populace, has taken a stand against it, while taking swipes at the Nigerian Government. Read his full statement below.

«The sheer weight of indignation and revulsion of most of Nigerian humanity at the recent Boko Haram atrocity in Yobe is most likely to have overwhelmed a tiny footnote to that outrage, small indeed, but of an inversely proportionate significance. This was the name of the hospital to which the survivors of the massacre were taken. That minute detail calls into question, in a gruesome but chastening way, the entire ethical landscape into which this nation has been forced by insensate leadership. It is an uncanny coincidence, one that I hope the new culture of 'religious tourism', spearheaded by none other than the nation's president in his own person, may even come to recognize as a message from unseen forces.

«For the name of that hospital, it is reported, is none other than that of General Sanni Abacha, a vicious usurper under whose authority the lives of an elected president and his wife were snuffed out. Assassinations – including through bombs cynically ascribed to the opposition – became routine. Under that ruler, torture and other forms of barbarism were enthroned as the norm of governance. To round up, nine Nigerian citizens, including the writer and environmentalist Ken Saro-wiwa, were hanged after a trial that was stomach churning even by the most primitive standards of judicial trial, and in defiance of the intervention of world leadership. We are speaking here of a man who placed this nation under siege during an unrelenting reign of terror that is barely different from the current rampage of Boko Haram. It is this very psychopath that was recently canonized by the government of Goodluck Jonathan in commemoration of one hundred years of Nigerian trauma.

«It has been long a-coming. One of the broadest avenues in the nation's capital, Abuja, bears the name of General Sanni Abacha. Successive governments have lacked the political courage to change this signpost – among several others – of national self degradation and wipe out the memory of the nation's tormentor from daily encounter. Not even Ministers for the Federal Capital territory within whose portfolios rest such responsibilities, could muster the temerity to initiate the process and leave the rest to public approbation or repudiation. I urged the need of this purge on one such minister, and at least one Head of State. That minister promised, but that boast went the way of Nigerian electoral boast. The Head of State murmured something about the fear of offending 'sensibilities'. All evasions amounted to moral cowardice and a doubling of victim trauma. When you proudly display certificates of a nation's admission to the club of global pariahs, it is only a matter of time before you move to beatify them as saints and other paragons of human perfection. What the government of Goodluck Jonathan has done is to scoop up a century's accumulated degeneracy in one preeminent symbol, then place it on a podium for the nation to admire, emulate and even – worship.

«There is a deplorable message for coming generations in this governance aberration that the entire world has been summoned to witness and indeed, to celebrate. The insertion of an embodiment of 'governance by terror' into the company of committed democrats, professionals, humanists and human rights advocates in their own right, is a sordid effort to grant a certificate of health to a communicable disease that common sense demands should be isolated. It is a confidence trick that speaks volumes of the perpetrators of such a fraud. We shall pass over – for instance – the slave mentality that concocts loose formulas for an Honours List that automatically elevate any violent bird of passage to the status of nation builders who may, or may not be demonstrably motivated by genuine love of nation. According generalized but false attributes to known killers and treasury robbers is a disservice to history and a desecration of memory. It also compromises the future. This failure to discriminate, to assess, and thereby make it possible to grudgingly concede that even out of a 'doctrine of necessity' – such as military dictatorship – some demonstrable governance virtue may emerge, reveals nothing but national self-glorification in a moral void, the breeding grounds of future cankerworm in the nation's edifice.

«Such abandonment of moral rigour comes full circle sooner or later. The survivors of a plague known as Boko Haram, students in a place of enlightenment and moral instruction, are taken to a place of healing dedicated to an individual contagion – a murderer and thief of no redeeming quality known as Sanni Abacha, one whose plunder is still being pursued all over the world and recovered piecemeal by international consortiums – at the behest of this same government which sees fit to place him on the nation's Roll of Honour! I can think of nothing more grotesque and derisive of the lifetime struggle of several on this list, and their selfless services to humanity. It all fits. In this nation of portent readers, the coincidence should not be too difficult to decipher.

I reject my share of this national insult.

He's Still the King! Retired Michael Jordan Raked In $90 Million In 2013

Find out how he still made that large chunk of cash out of court!

Michael Jordan made $90Million in 2013

Michael Jordan's Air Jordan brought in $75 Million from Nike!

Michael Jordan doesn't play professional basket ball anymore but hell yeah, he still rakes in millions of dollars each year. In 2013 alone, the famous sportsman made up to $90 million from endorsements and the continuous influence of his personal brand.

According to Bleacher Report, the Jordan brand still holds weight as it accounts for the majority of Jordan's incredible paycheck. Evidence of the brand's influence can be found with the Air Jordan 10 "Powder Blue" sneakers, which Nike released on February 22nd 2014.

The new shoe line reportedly raked in $35 million at its first-day sales. Meanwhile online,  Air Jordan still brings in more cash. One of every three dollars spent on the Jordan sneakers on eBay is reportedly going toward buying Air Jordans, according to Quartz.com.

With $90 million earned last year, Forbes' Kurt Badenhausen states that Jordan earned more last year than any current or retired athlete besides Floyd Mayweather. He further estimated that the former NBA all-star's brand has become an invaluable asset for Nike.

"Retail shoe sales for the Jordan Brand in the United States grew 11% last year to $2.7 billion, with basketball making up to 84% of that, according to Powell. Roughly 50% to 55% of that goes to Nike," Kurt said.

"If you factor in sales of Jordan apparel, the international Jordan business and sales at Nike stores, the Jordan brand is contributing roughly $2 billion of revenue to Nike, which posted sales of $26 billion over the last 12 months. Jordan, the man, gets a cut of every shoe, hoodie or pair of shorts sold by Nike under the Jordan Brand. We estimate MJ's take from Nike was at least $75 million last year."

Other reports state that in addition to his personal brand, endorsements have been kind to Jordan. The basketball legend boasts corporate partners such as Gatorade, Hanes, Upper Deck and Five Star Fragrances as well as recently acquired partners 2K Sports and Novant Health.

Oh No He Didn't! Barack Obama Disgraces A Journalist At A DC Hotel

Who dares to speak when the President is speaking?

BARACK OBAMA DISGRACES A JOURNALIST AT A DC HOTEL

US President, Barack Obama is good with words and he can use the same words to shut anybody up when necessary.

During his speech with the Democratic National Committee at the Capital Hilton, DC on Friday, Obama was allegedly rudely interrupted by a man's question on Russian nuclear crisis while the president was talking about socio-economic matters of USA.

The man shouted, "Mr. Obama, tell us about your plan for nuclear war with Russia!" While Obama went on slamming Republicans for getting 'all stirred up' over his plan to unilaterally act to "help middle class families."

According to reports, Obama finally reacted to the man's rants, "I'm sorry," Obama said sarcastically. "Who is that back there? What the heck are you talking about?"

Feeling confident with his response to the heckler, he got back into his speech but the crowd cheered him up and ended up chanting "Obama! Obama! Obama!"

The man who shouted out the strange question had no choice but to sit his butt down!
