Ben Affleck's alleged addiction to gambling is reportedly starting to take a toll on his marriage to Jennifer Garner.
The actor, 41, has been spotted on numerous occasions at Detroit casinos when he's not filming his latest flick Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
A source told People, "[Jennifer] never understood his gambling obsession and she doesn't want him to be in the news [for it]."
The friend added: "[But] she's the most patient wife ever and is still very much in love with Ben."

The news comes after the Argo star was previously banned at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas for allegedly counting cards two months ago.
However, since then he has been spotted frequenting the Detroit-area casinos when he's not on set.
While his wife is less than thrilled of her husband's habit, People's source claims their relationship still remains 'solid'.
Last weekend, Ben was spotted shopping with five-year-old daughter Seraphina for his upcoming anniversary on June 29.
A source told People: "Ben was very cute with his daughter and carried her around so she could look at all the jewelry. She especially liked jewelry and diamonds and wanted her mom to have diamonds. She was definitely in charge of the purchase, and Ben let her take her time. She was very sweet and happy about being out with her dad."
The father-daughter duo settled on an item and were seen leaving. The source claimed: "She wanted to hold the bag and Ben laughed and said no. He carried her out of the store on his shoulders and she kept laughing.
SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) -- San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh delivered a simple but emphatic message to his players as they gathered in a circle at the end of the team's three-day minicamp.
Following an offseason in which three key players were either arrested or were part of an investigation by police, Harbaugh warned the 49ers to be more aware of their circumstances and who they hang out with.
Quarterback Colin Kaepernick was one of the three players involved in off-field incidents.
Although Kaepernick was never charged and was cleared of any wrongdoing stemming from a possible sexual assault investigation in Miami, he said the incident left him more cautious about his life away from football.
''A lot more,'' Kaepernick said Thursday. ''Since I really started playing it's something I've been more aware of, especially in the past few months. It's something that obviously you have to be very aware of.''
Kaepernick and two other NFL players were investigated for an incident involving a woman at a downtown hotel in Miami in April. Kaepernick repeatedly denied that he had done anything wrong, and prosecutors decided earlier this week to drop the case and not charge any of the three players.
Later, 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport after authorities said he became belligerent during a security screening and threatened that he had a bomb.
That followed on the heels of San Francisco cornerback Chris Culliver's arrest in March on suspicion of felony hit and run and reckless driving after he drove a car into a bicyclist and fled.
Because the players are essentially on their own for the next month until training camp begins, meaning plenty of free time with little to no supervision, Harbaugh gave them a stern reminder to avoid trouble.
''Be aware of who you associate with, friend or foe,'' Harbaugh said, summing up his message to the players. ''There always seems to be a foe presence. Mainly, surround yourself with good people.''
Kaepernick has had to do that for reasons other than what happened in Miami. This month, the 2011 second-round draft pick signed a $126 million, six-year contract extension.

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick passes during NFL football minicamp in Santa Clara, …
Already a target of defensive players on the field, Kaepernick and his new wealth became a target off the field the instant he signed the deal. Thus his emphasis on being more cautious.
''You want to keep good people around all the time, regardless of where you're at,'' Kaepernick said.
The 49ers wrapped up their mandatory minicamp with a brief workout in the afternoon.
Kaepernick played catch and joked with some of his teammates before turning serious during a 7-on-7 drill when he completed a handful of short passes over the middle and rifled a deep throw in traffic to wide receiver Anquan Boldin.
After practice ended, Kaepernick and several teammates engaged in a heated mini-basketball game inside the locker room. At one point, the quarterback glanced at the nearly two dozen reporters standing near his locker waiting for him then turned his attention back to the basketball game.

As the crowd near his locker continued to grow, Kaepernick retreated to the players' lounge for about 30 minutes to catch the latest on the World Cup before finally emerging to talk.
''For the most part I'm going to be me,'' Kaepernick said. ''Off the field you just have to look out for what other people's intentions are. I'm going to be more regardless.''
Boldin, fellow wide receiver Quinton Patton and Kaepernick worked out together in Florida during the offseason. Kaepernick and Boldin agree the time there was critical and beneficial to both.
''When we were down in Florida we got an opportunity to work together,'' said Boldin, who caught 85 passes for 1,179 yards and seven touchdowns during his first season with the 49ers. ''So our communication is a lot better. We're on the same page, we're seeing things and we're talking.''
NOTES: Harbaugh is still unsure whether Smith will be at training camp or not. He is scheduled to be sentenced on three felony weapons charges and two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence on July 25 - two days after the 49ers report to training camp and one day after their first practice. The pass-rush specialist is also facing a possible NFL suspension. ''That's to be determined,'' Harbaugh said when asked about Smith's situation. ''As you can see he's out here practicing, part of the team.'' ... Two-time Pro Bowl tight end Vernon Davis and right guard Alex Boone remained the most notable absences. Both players are seeking new contracts and did not take part in the mandatory minicamp.
Lovebirds no more! From Robin Thicke and Paula Patton to Katy Perry and John Mayer, look back at the most shocking celebrity splits that took place this year.
Robin Thicke and Paula Patton

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin
Separating after 10 years of marriage, the actress and her Coldplay rocker husband announced their decision to "consciously uncouple" in a March 2014 post on Paltrow's GOOP lifestyle website. "We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it.
Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie

Katy Perry and John Mayer
On-again, off-again since summer 2012, Perry and Mayer -- who released a duet, "Who Do You Love," in December 2013 -- split for good in February. Leading to the unraveling of their romance: Perry's busy schedule. "She's stressed about the tour, they've been fighting," a source said. "It is probably for the best, because she is going to be on tour for forever. Of course this happens all the time, I can't keep track anymore. But for now they are done."
Melanie erased husband Antonio's name from her tattoo on Tuesday, June 17
Taking things to the next level! Seems Melanie Griffith has decided that erasing Antonio Banderas' name from her famous heart tattoo following the announcement of their split, wasn't nearly enough.
Just two days after making a bold statement by obscuring her former lover's name from the middle of her heart tattoo on Tuesday, June 17, the 56-year-old actress has stepped out on the red carpet again, and this time she's erased her trademark ink altogether.
Posing for photographers at another cocktail party during Italy's Taormina Film Festival on Thursday, June 19, Griffith, who had initially covered her upper arm with a black shawl, wriggled he shoulders free of the fabric to display her lack of tattoo.
Looking trim in a her strapless cream gown with black lace detailing, Griffith smiled for pictures with fellow stars Ben Stiller and wife Christine Taylor, the only clue to her former tattoo being a slightly noticeable pale patch of makeup on her right upper arm.
The Working Girl actress and her husband Banderas, 53, announced their intention to split toUs Weekly on Friday, June 6. "We have thoughtfully and consensually decided to finalize our almost 20-year marriage in a loving and friendly manner honoring and respecting each other, our family, and friends and the beautiful time we have spent together," they said in a joint statement.
A source told Us the split had been a long time coming. "There was no cheating on either side. They had fallen out of love awhile ago," the source said. "Their daughter Stella is about to be 18 in September and they wanted to wait until [the] kids were grown and out of the house before they split up, but knew they would awhile ago. They stayed together for the sake of the kids."

One of the highlights of the Netherlands' 5-1 thrashing of defending world champion Spain in last week’s Group B opener was seeing Dutch forward Arjen Robben blow past Spanish defender Sergio Ramos on his way to scoring Holland’s fourth goal.
At the time, it was easy to assume Ramos, a top-tier defender who plies his trade for Real Madrid, must simply have been left behind because of fatigue. It’s since been revealed it was Robben’s blistering pace that left Ramos in the dust, rather than exhaustion on the part of the defender.
Initial reports said Robben had been clocked at an astonishing 23 mph, a speed that would make him the fastest soccer player in the history of the game.
However FIFA’s official data on the Spain vs. Netherlands match indicates those initial reports may have been faulty. According to the official FIFA stat sheet for the match, the Flying Dutchman’s top speed had been "only" 19.3 mph.
That’s still incredibly fast, and also a personal best for Robben, whose previous top speed was clocked at 19.1 miles per hour.
Check out how Robben's world-class speed ranks compared to some of the world's top athletes in other sports:

So contrary to some reports, Arjen Robben is not the fastest soccer player in the world.
That distinction still belongs to Ecuador’s Antonio Valencia, who while playing for Manchester Unitedin the English Premier League, made a run that was clocked at 22 mph.
Robben is still among the fastest players in this summer’s World Cup, although not the fastest.
According to FIFA data, Brazilian Ramirez was also clocked at 19.3 mph in Brazil’s World Cup opener against Croatia.
Chilean Alexis Sanchez also made a 19.3 mph run in Chile’s opener against Australia.
Faster still was U.S. midfielder Jermaine Jones, who was clocked at 19.5 mph in the USA’s hard-fought opener against Ghana.
But with almost a week’s worth of the 2014 World Cup having been played, so far no one has been as fast as France’s Raphael Varane. The 21-year-old central defender was clocked at an astounding 20.07 mph in Les Bleus’ opening fixture against Honduras.
For some perspective, Usain Bolt has a top speed of 27.44 mph.
With two more rounds of group-stage play followed by the round of 16, quarterfinals, semifinals, third-place playoff and the World Cup final yet to be played, the title of fastest player in the World Cup is likely still to be decided.
By now, we're all well aware that fueling cars and bikes with electricity is the way of the future, but if there's one brand that you'd imagine would vehemently oppose this change, it's America's own Harley-Davidson. Its customers are synonymously free-spirited "easy riders" – a far cry from Google Glass-wearing tech geeks — called to duty by the thunder from the V-twin engines. And yet here's Project LiveWire, the first ever all-electric Harley-Davidson motorcycle – proof that even the most traditional of brands cannot ignore the revolution.
Harley knows that it takes more than just a legendary name to sustain a company, and like many, it seeks a younger demographic to fill its voids. That's not to say the electric LiveWire turns its back on the company's loyal customers, rather it offers something entirely different: "We see this as a bike for more urban areas," Jeff Richlen, Chief Engineer of Harley-Davidson new products told Yahoo Autos. "It's something that's appealing to people that perhaps haven't considered a Harley before, but it still retains our core DNA."
LiveWire is powered by a 55-kW electric motor that produces 75 hp. Mix that with its 52 lb.-ft. of instant torque and it'll hit 60 mph in under four seconds. Regen braking on the rear captures electricity to recharge the battery during deceleration, with total range topping out at around 53 miles.
But as Richlen reiterates, those numbers will change because LiveWire isn't a production bike just yet – it's a test mule. A few dozen bikes will embark on a tour around the United States, and eventually Europe. The objective will be to see how buyers respond to the bike, and what might need changing if and when it goes on sale: "So far, riders have been stoked," Richlen says. "The response has been phenomenal, but the tech is still maturing. It's not there yet, and we don't know what kind of range will be expected – is 50 OK, or will we need 100, 200 or even 300 miles to make it work?"
Harley understands the demands of educating a customer base steeped in V-twin tradition, but thinks that the new bike's distinct feel will ensure current owners are excited by what the brand is doing: "It weighs just 460 lbs.," Richlen says. "People that have ridden it are amazed at how light and nimble it feels. Some people may get on it thinking, 'golf cart,' but they get off thinking, 'rocket ship.'"
While a lack of gears to shift through may be off-putting to some riders, Richlen thinks it perhaps opens the door for inexperienced bikers to hit the roads, offering a less intimidating twist-and-go riding style. He also says the whooshing of the wind noise makes for a truly visceral and new sensation; Harley claims to have created a new sonic signature for the LiveWire, which it describes as "fighter jet on an aircraft carrier."
Educating the public on these attributes, however, may not be an easy task, as Harley's own Facebook page already features a number of annoyed commenters:
"No No No Harley is not a Harley without a v-twin and the thunder!!!"
posted Mathew Law.
"Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! We don't want electric bikes,"
said Mike Tingle.
The news did not meet all Harley fans with anger, though:
"This is America and if you don't like then don't buy. I applaud Harley and think for a commuter it's spot on!"
For Harley-Davidson, testing the waters with the LiveWire while making it clear that this is not a production bike, tends to point towards the concern of alienating its core buyers. It will be a slow and methodical process in education, but as Tesla has proved in the car world, it's something that can be overcome with patience and a good product.
And when the LiveWire does eventually go on sale (and I think we all know it will in some form and at some point) the commenters will have had time to acclimate to the idea — and the thought of lightning to go with their rolling thunder.
Americans spend billions of dollars on fast food every year, which is funny, because they’re not all that satisfied with it. People enjoy full-service restaurants much more than fast-food ones, even when it comes to speed of service, according to the 2014 American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI), but people keep going back.
Love-hate relationships with fast food are common: It’s often unhealthy and addictive, but it’s convenient and cheap (until it adds up — Americans spent $117 billion on fast food in 2011, according to Fast Food Marketing). As a result, it’s unsurprising that some of the most popular fast-food chains are also among the least liked from a customer-satisfaction standpoint.
Here are the bottom five, from bad to worst:
5. Burger King ACSI score: 76 (out of 100), same score as 2013
Starbucks scored the same as Burger King (76), which was a four-point slide from last year for the coffee chain. The scores are based on 4,572 random customer interviews between Jan 13 and March 11.
People may be less satisfied with these traditional drive-thru kings, but enthusiasm for fast food isn’t exactly waning. The best experiences seem to come from smaller chains like Panera and Chipotle, which were grouped together in the “other” category that held the top spot with a score of 84. The remaining spots in the top five were taken by pizza joints: Papa John’s (82), Pizza Hut (82), Little Caesar (80) and Domino’s (80).
It’s unsurprising that eating out is a common budget-killer (the most common, according to some financial advisers), and using a credit card when doing so means you’re likely to spend more than if you were paying with cash. And if you tend to carry credit card debt from month to month, especially if it’s higher than 30% of your credit limit, you’re not really doing your credit standing any favors. (You can get an idea of your credit standing by checking your credit scores for free on Credit.com, where you can also get a breakdown of what’s influencing your credit, and a plan to improve it.)
A fast food addiction can easily deplete your bank account or trash your credit if you thoughtlessly charge all those runs to the drive-thru, so make sure you’re considering the whole picture before eating out: Convenience and speed may not be worth it when it comes to quality and cost.
