Nigerian Idol Season 4: Contestant Breaks Down at Auditions

If you are keeping up with the Nigerian Idols you will understand how humorous it is, people who "think" they can sing, end up disappointing themselves on national television.

This is an extreme case of self-disappointment. "Oredu Agbenu" Barbara broke down at the regional Nigerian Idol auditions after performing in front of the judges.

The 20 year old student, felt disappointed at herself and her
performance of Rihanna's song, 'Man Down.' "I really don't know what happened, I just let myself down," said a teary Barbara.

"Barbara thank you but you are definitely not ready for Nigerian Idol," said Dare. Boy did he speak the truth!

Biography of Niyola
 Born Eniola Akinbo is a Nigerian artist and song writer. She was born into a large family of 13 children and is the last child. Niyola  studied Journalism at the Independent Journalism Center owned by PM News, and went on to study English Language at the University of Lagos while also taking  some courses in Travel & Tourism

Niyola's interest in music was awakened as early as when she was 8 years old, she frequently honed her singing skills by singing in her church choir.

Niyola's rise to musical stardom started way back in 2000 when she took part in the AMEN starlet competition and emerged first runner up. She later joined Trybe records but only briefly.

She released her first singles Me n U (in da club) No more and Dem say .Niyola got signed to Westside Music and released her debut album containing the smash hits Bring it on and Call my name that earned her two nominations that year at the Hip hop world awards .

After the release of the singles, Niyola gained recognition in the music industry and performed at major events like the Akon concert in Lagos, Calabar festival in Cross Rivers, Y'hello Festival alongside Sasha, and toured with CELTEL (now Airtel) in 2008. She also took part in the first girl power Tetmosol project amongst many others.
In 2009, she took part in the OVATION RED CAROL theme song.

Best Known For
 Niyola is popularly referred to as the first lady of Empire Mates Entertainment (EME) . She got signed on the label in 2012 and has since then sky rocketed to fame.

Niyola was worked with several artists such as Sasha P, Sound Sultan, Paul Play, Lynxxx to name a few.

Besides writing songs and shooting top rated videos Niyola also does soundtracks for movies in her dialect Yoruba .

In 2007 she wrote the theme song for 2FACE IDIBIA's 2nd album concert and also did jingles for Coca Cola and a few other international brands

Biography of Young 6ix
Born Onome Onokokwomo on the 8th of JUL 1989 is a Nigerian rap artist. He was born into a wealthy family in Warri, Delta State and has four siblings of which he is the oldest. He attended a private university in Osun state. His interest in music started at a young age and just like several Nigerian artists like Dammy Krane his was a member of his church choir. His interest in music grew rap and he drew inspiration from rap music, .during his high school days he engaged in rap battles and eventually formed a group with his friends called G-Squad. He dropped his version of Ice Princes' 'Oleku' track in 2010 and thus began his rise to fame.

Best known for: Young 6ix has been described by Nigerian rapper M.I Abaga as the next best thing in Nigerian Hip-hop after they collaborated on a track together he got him the moniker 'King of the South". Due to his young age he appeals to a lot of Young Nigerians and has often been referred to as the Voice of the New Generation.

He is under the management of Storm360 Degrees and 411 entertainments since 2011 and released his very much anticipated Mix tape "Green Light Green". The fast rising star has worked with already established artists in the industry like Naeto C, Phyno, M.I, Brymo, Tha Suspect, Ice Prince, Vector and many others. Yung 6ix has been nominated for awards such as best new act, best hip hop video, best rap single and several others.

In February 2014, he finally released his debut album, 6ix O Clock.

Born Raoul John Njeng-Njeng on the 1 of April 1991 is a Nigerian rapper, song writer and performer. He was born in Kaduna and is an only child. Skales attended Lead City Unversity,however took time off for his music, he recently graduated with a degree in Office Management and Technology 

Skales had a passion for rap music and between 2007 and 2008;he journeyed to Jos to work with Nigeria's finest .Jeremiah Gyang and Jesse Jagz. In 2008, he took it to another level when he entered theZainTru Search talent competition in 2008 and emerged as the winner for the North Central region, and then moved to Lagos.

 Born Fasasi Olanrewaju on the 27th of November1976 is a Nigerian rapper, singer-songwriter, actor, comedian and recording artist. He was born in Jos to Mr. Fasasi Liadi Alarape and Mrs. Fasasi Adeyinka Ajarat and grew up with his 5siblings.
