All over, and Manchester City's players slump to their knees. Barcelona? Predictably, they are all smiles.

Dilan: (external) What a finish from Dani Alves. Game over. Tie over. A perfect Champions League away performance from Barcelona.
Manchester City 0-2 Barcelona
Robbie Savage - BBC Radio 5 live at Etihad Stadium
"This game could have ended 4-0 easily. They have torn Manchester City apart with 10 men.

"I would question Manuel Pellegrini. The mistake by starting Martin Demichelis has cost them."

Manchester City 0-2 Barcelona
And now we watch Barcelona pass the ball about for fun. It ends how it began.

A sickener for Manchester City as Barcelona score a late second - Neymar and Dani Alves linking up on the right before the latter slides the ball through Joe Hart's legs. Game over. Tie over?

Championship latest
Chelsea loanee Patrick Bamford has further enhanced his growing reputation with an incredible strike for Derby against Sheffield Wednesday. Five goals in seven appearances for the Rams, following an impressive spell at MK Dons earlier in the season, will surely have caught the attention of parent-club manager Jose Mourinho.

Matt from Skegness: Manchester City lucky not to be 2-0 down when the game hasn't been that one sided. Cesc Fabregas was onside for a second goal but the first wasn't a penalty. They aren't out of this if it finishes 1-0.
21:29
GOAL Bayer Leverkusen 0-4 Paris St-Germain - Yohan Cabaye (88 mins)
Former Newcastle midfielder Yohan Cabaye scores his first goal for PSG as he sidefoots a shot into the top corner from 18 yards after Lucas's pull back. Another brilliant finish.
21:28
Manchester City 0-1 Barcelona
David Silva again, this time with a deep cross in the direction of Edin Dzeko but the ball is put behind for a corner by Victor Valdes. The corner comes to nothing.
21:27
GREAT SAVE! Bayer Leverkusen 0-3 Paris St-Germain
A brilliant save from goalkeeper Bernd Leno stops this from getting even more humiliating for Bayer Leverkusen.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic rolls the ball across goal to Javier Pastore but, with just Leno to beat, his shot is blocked by the German's legs.

PSG are in cruise control.

Manchester City 0-1 Barcelona
Four minutes to go. Can City find a dramatic leveller?
Manchester City 0-1 Barcelona

21:26
SUBSTITUTION
Another change for Barca - Sergi Roberto replacing Cesc Fabregas.
21:26
CLOSE! Manchester City 0-1 Barcelona
Nearly. Manchester City fashion another quality chance when David Silva, who has had a superb game, plays in Edin Dzeko but the striker is penalised for a minor push in the back of Gerard Pique as he prepared to pull the trigger.

Kemlo: (external) Apparently Barcelona are preparing their appeal of Martin Demichelis' red card as we speak.

Akude Emeka O: (external) Fernandinho has been absolutely fantastic tonight, what a midfield marshal he's turning into.

Jono Healey: (external) Barca have done nothing tonight. Bad error by Demichelis. Lionel Messi quiet as a church mouse.
Manchester City 0-1 Barcelona
BBC Sport's Chris Bevan at Etihad Stadium
"Barcelona boss Gerardo Martino shows his frustration as his side surrender possession in their own-half - that does not happen too often. City's 10 men, with their fans urging them on and singing 'we fight to the end' are not just sitting back and aiming for damage-limitation, but they have to be very careful here."
21:21
DISALLOWED GOAL Manchester City 0-1 Barcelona
Poor from Manchester City, who have Barcelona penned back into their own half but Joleon Lescott decides to pass back to Joe Hart from just inside his own area and drills the ball out for a corner. The centre comes to nothing but a subsequent moves ends with Gerard Pique sweeping home after the City defence had been sliced open like a tin of beans. However, the linesman flags the goal offside. I'm not sure why. Have the Blues got away with one?

I told you to expect more goals in the game involving Coventry and Carlisle. The latter have taken the lead through Sam Byrne who is currently on loan from Manchester United until the end of the season.

Joey G, a City fan: If we keep it to 1-0, with Martin Demichelis suspended and the memory of beating Bayern Munich away, I still think we can progress
21:18
GREAT SAVE! Manchester City 0-1 Barcelona
A moment of brilliance almost drags Manchester City back into this match, with Pablo Zabaleta passing to David Silva who chests the ball down and volleys towards goal but Victor Valdes is equal to the challenge.

Hugh in France: (external) Do Barca have more than 11 on the pitch ? In every shot, you see at least six striped shirts. It's mind-blowing.
Manchester City 0-1 Barcelona
BBC Sport's Chris Bevan at Etihad Stadium
"The Barca fans are now giving it an 'ole' after every pass from their team, and there have been a few of them. City's supporters, meanwhile, are still directing plenty of wrath at the officials and applauding every challenge from their side."
21:16
SUBSTITUTION Manchester City 0-1 Barcelona
As if Manchester City needed anything else to worry about, Barcelona send on Neymar for Alexis Sanchez, while Manchester City replace Alvaro Negredo with Edin Dzeko. Fifteen minutes to go.
21:14
SUBSTITUTION Manchester City 0-1 Barcelona
Barcelona continue with their short, precise passing - pitching a tent on the edge of the Manchester City penalty area and waiting patiently for another opening.
Manchester City 0-1 Barcelona
Robbie Savage - BBC Radio 5 live at Etihad Stadium
"What was Gael Clichy doing? He dallied on the ball, only waiting to put the ball into Victor Valdes's hands."
21:11
Manchester City 0-1 Barcelona
And now it's Manchester City's turn to launch a raid down the left, David Silva releasing Gael Clichy but the ball takes a bobble and the fullback's cross ends up straight at Victor Valdes.
21:11
DISALLOWED GOAL Bayer Leverkusen 0-3 Paris St-Germain
At last, a bit of good news for Bayer Leverkusen.

Blaise Matuidi is sent clear on goal by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and he sees his shot saved by goalkeeper Bernd Leno before deflecting off Leverkusen's Philipp Wollscheid and bouncing into the net.

The goal is chalked off as the offside Ezequiel Lavezzi is adjudged to be interfering with play despite having nothing to do with the move.

Stu Kingston: (external) Joleon Lescott's gone from bench warming to playing against Lionel Messi. Big 30 minutes ahead for him.

21:09
CLOSE! Manchester City 0-1 Barcelona
Now Barcelona have found that opening, and seen Manchester City reduced to 10 men, they are creating a few more chances - this time Xavi sidefooting over the bar before Dani Alves plays a neat one-two and gets behind the fullback before dragging his low shot just past the far post.
21:06

Vincent Kompany wins the ball in a full-blooded challenge on Lionel Messi. That has got the home side's supporters going.
