Nollywood actress turned publisher, Monalisa Chinda has denied having any romantic relations with her longtime partner, Lanre Nzeribe, saying they are 'just friends' and that there is nothing intimate going on between them.

This assertion is coming as a shock to her close circle of friends who are wondering why she should deny having anything to do with Lanre.

It has been public knowledge that since she divorced her husband, Dejo Richards some few years ago, she had found succor in the arms of Lanre, a serial lover who has had flings with many celebrity ladies, including a short lived marriage with Stella Damasus.

The two even teamed up to established a self-styled magazine called Monalisa, so those who know them are saying that Monalisa is hiding what they really have or maybe she is just using that as a defense in case the relationship finally breaks.

But be that as it may, it is her life and she is free to date anyone she wants as long as she is a free woman.
