Liverpool's Natasha Dowie, Lucy Bronze and Nicole Rolser have been nominated for the Professional Footballers' Association's female player of the year award.
The trio are joined by Arsenal duo Siobhan Chamberlain and Jordan Nobbs, as well as Seattle Reign's Kim Little.
Little, previously of Arsenal, was the first recipient of the award last year.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Sunday, 27 April.
Defender Bronze, 22, has also been nominated for the young player award, alongside team-mate Martha Harris, after helping Liverpool to the FA Women's Super League title last season.
Nobbs is also in contention, along with Arsenal's Danielle Carter, Manchester City's Isobel Christiansen and Everton's Alex Greenwood.
